    Description

1967 Topps Mets Rookies-Tom Seaver #581 PSA NM-MT 8. When this card was issued in 1967, little could anyone have realized just what a contribution the young man on the right side of this card would make to the game. Just 2 years later, a 24-year old Seaver posted a record of 25-7 during the regular season and, along with fellow pitching phenom Nolan Ryan, made the 1969 Miracle Mets World Series champions. "Terrific" representation including slick gloss, precision centering and three mint corners. A bit of fuzziness in the lower left accounts for the technical grade. This example is ripe for grade review.
