Description

1966 O-Pee-Chee Pete Rose #30 PSA Mint 9 - Pop Three, None Higher! They called him "Charlie Hustle" because he played every inning of every game with both intensity as well as a certain degree of reckless abandonment. His name was Pete Rose and when he retired from Major League Baseball following the 1986 season, he had collected more hits than anyone else in history: 4,256. The 1963 NL Rookie of the Year, Rose was also a three-time World Series champion (twice with the Reds, once with the Phillies) who was named NL MVP in 1973.

Presented is a 1966 O-Pee-Chee card that captures Rose striking a batting pose during Spring Training. This example of card #30 from the '66 OPC series is found in Mint condition with great color, superb centering, snow white borders, four good corners and a clean reverse. Graded PSA Mint 9. Of the more than 110 examples found in the PSA Pop Report, this is one of only three cards graded MINT with none rated higher.
