1963 Topps Willie Stargell - 1963 Rookie Stars #553 PSA Mint 9. Willie Stargell was a mainstay in the Pittsburgh Pirates clubhouse for two decades. No true Pittsburgh fan isn't in awe of his heroics in Game 7 of the 1979 World Series when the "Pittsburgh's Pa" went 4-for-5 fulfilling his role as elder statesman of the Pirates lineup. For the series, Stargell batted .400 and brought Pittsburgh a world championship title. Our offered is his rookie debut on the 1963 Topps series. Colorful and glossy starts our description as we move onto virtually flawless blue and yellow fields, vibrant colors, and a quartet of sharp corners. The top two without any white flecks even at the tips. Everything one expects from a "Mint" card. Graded PSA Mint 9.
