    Description

1963 Topps Mickey Mantle #200 SGC 96 Mint 9. The only example recorded to date at the coveted 96 Mint 9 level by SGC. Few would debate the validity of the statement, "Mickey Mantle is one of Baseball's greatest athletes" and "This is one of his finest Topps collectibles." Topps' dual-portrait format for the 1963 edition made for one of the firm's most visually exciting productions. Here, Mantle is portrayed displaying the tool which helped make him a legend, his trusty bat and a full-color more formal portrait, lacking only that all-american smile. The quality of the near perfect centering, (yes, it does sit a sliver from perfection), the four razor sharp corner tips, blemish free surfaces and the bright hues all combine to equal the highest graded of the over 325 judged by the conservative SGC judges. A premier investment quality specimen.
