    Description

1960 Topps Willie McCovey #316 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. Willie McCovey is a time honored member of the prestigious 500 Home Run Club but will also be remembered as one of the games true gentlemen. The 1959 Rookie of The Year, six-time All-Star talent averaged thirty-eight home runs and over 100 RBI's per season during a six-year span from 1965 to 1970. He has the distinction of having not one but two cards serving as his rookie debut. The second card recognizes his appearing in his first All Star game.

Graded PSA Mint 9. One of twenty-eight at this level with none graded higher. A half century later and this card is still accurately described as "fresh from the pack." Every characteristic one searches for in their quest to add the finest to their holdings. A remarkable card that could justify PSA creating a "9.5" grade.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
