1960 Venezuela Topps Carl Yastrzemski (Rookie Star) #148 PSA Good 2.UPDATE: Title and description updated to reflect that this is a 1960 Venezuela Topps card.
Carl Yastrzemski was known simply as "Yaz." He was a Hall of Famer for the Boston Red Sox who competed for 23 seasons (1961 to 1983). A terrific batter, Yaz recorded 3,419 hits including 452 home runs along the way. He was named the American League's MVP in 1967, the same season in which he won the coveted Triple Crown (.326 BA, 44 HR and 121 RBI) as he led the Bosox to the AL pennant. Offered is the rare Venezuelan issue of Yaz's 1960 Topps rookie card. This example of card #148 from the '60 Topps set is found with rich color and excellent centering. Graded PSA Good 2.
