Topped only once in PSA history!

1960 Topps Carl Yastrzemski Rookie #148 PSA Mint 9. In all of Major League Baseball, there is no more unusual assignment than left field at Fenway Park, a stubby parcel of ground bordered by a thirty-seven foot tall fence that transforms routine fly balls into pinballing doubles upon the slightest misjudgment of a carom. Daunting enough was the task of inheriting a position owned for two decades by one of the game's all time greats, but the Green Monster multiplied the challenge for a young Yaz, who, like his left-handed batting predecessor, experienced only the challenges and rarely the kindnesses of the Big Leagues' funkiest geometry.

There's nothing but geometric bliss here, however, with four perfectly untouched corners and evenly-spaced borders hemming in a gorgeous and glossy image of a legend on the rise. Clean surfaces. A truly spectacular memento of the Sox' most important post-war debut. Only one submission in over 6,000 attempts has ever topped this example!
