1956 Topps Virgil Trucks (Gray Back) #117 PSA Mint 9 - Only One Higher! Virgil Trucks was a veteran righthander who hurled 177 victories, primarily for the Detroit Tigers, and struck out 1,534 batters along the way. He pitched a total of 124 complete games and recorded a lifetime ERA of 3.39. Offered is a 1956 Topps card that shows Trucks by way of two different images, one headshot and one smaller inset pic of him fielding a throw from his catcher. This gray-back example of card #117 from the '56 Topps series is found in Mint condition with rich color, solid centering, four good corners and a clean reverse. Graded PSA Mint 9. Of the more than 600 examples found in the PSA Pop Report, this is one of only 12 cards graded Mint with just one rated higher.View Certification and Population Details from PSA
