Description

1956 Topps Pee Wee Reese #260 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher! Offered is a 1956 Topps card that features Brooklyn Dodgers Hall of Fame shortstop Pee Wee Reese. A lifetime .266 batter, Reese collected 2,170 hits during his 16 seasons in the Majors and was enshrined in Cooperstown in 1984. He was also one of the very first Dodger players who openly welcomed newcomer and color-barrier-breaker Jackie Robinson to the team in 1947.

Card #260 from the 1956 Topps series shows the scrappy Dodger up close and in action. This example of the card is found in high-grade fashion with deep, rich colors, perfect centering, white borders, four strong corners and a clean reverse. Graded PSA Mint 9. Of the more than 2,600 examples found in the PSA Pop Report, this is one of only 16 cards graded MINT with none rated higher.
