Population ten, none superior!

1956 Topps Jackie Robinson (Gray Back) #30 PSA Mint 9. Known for his aggressive baserunning, sharp defense, and powerful hitting, Robinson earned Rookie of the Year honors during his dangerous 1947 debut season and was the 1949 National League MVP. Over his ten-year career, he was selected to six All-Star Games and helped lead the Dodgers to six National League pennants and a World Series title in 1955. Robinson was not only a standout on the field but also a prominent figure in the civil rights movement, using his platform to speak out against racial injustice. In 1956, his final season, Robinson batted .275 with 10 home runs and 43 RBIs across 117 games. After being traded to the New York Giants, he chose to retire rather than play for another team, closing a historic and transformative career in baseball.

This stunning cardboard commemorative is the finest available from Robinson's farewell season, featuring the rarer of the two available backs (white and gray) and standing atop the quality podium with nine other PSA-graded examples. The spectacular quality leaves little cause for a condition report, as our catalog imagery will reveal bright colors, crisp registration, sharp corners and marvelous centering. An absolutely dazzling rarity that celebrates the most important athlete in the history of our national pastime. Graded PSA Mint 9.
