    Description

1955 Topps Roberto Clemente #164 PSA NM 7. To a young generation of baseball card fans, Topps turned the baseball world on its ear for 1955, abandoning the portrait format that dominating the hobby since its inception for a landscape design that provided exciting new options for company artists. Yet this pioneering distinction tends to be an afterthought for collectors today, whose primary association with the Eisenhower-era issue is the important rookie debut of two of the most beloved Cooperstown residents - Sandy Koufax and Roberto Clemente. Presented is a high-end example of the rookie debut of Roberto Clemente. Graded PSA NM 7. Extremely bright colors, tight registration, and fresh gloss provide elite visual appeal. Corners are above what one expects from a near-mint card. A strong example of a must-have card for the Clemente fan.
