1955 Topps Phil Rizzuto #189 PSA Mint 9 - Only One Higher. By the time his '55 Topps card was circulated, Phil Rizzuto was both a military veteran and baseball player. "Scooter" had played professional baseball dating back to 1941 prior to serving his country for three years in WWII. The card has all of the characteristics of a mint card one could ask for. Gloss, colors, surfaces, corners are all at the highest levels of quality. Graded PSA Mint 9, this card is one of seven examples to have earned a "Mint 9" rating from PSA. There is just one rated higher.
