    Description

1954 Topps Jackie Robinson #10 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. Jackie Robinson forever changed the character of our National Pastime for the better. Even in the racially diverse borough of Brooklyn, Jackie Robinson would be the first African-American man that thousands would consider "one of us." They cheered for him. They loved him. Some of the boys in the stands at Ebbets would march as men in Selma because their hearts and minds had been opened during warm summer afternoons in Flatbush. Baseball had that effect on society back then. In short, Jackie Robinson was baseball's greatest gift to the soul of our nation, and arguably the most significant figure in the history of American sports. A spectacular example of Jackie Robinson from the 1954 Topps series. The card displays amazing hues, nice gloss with near perfect centering. Even the beautiful green bleed on the reverse resonates quality. A clean back and a picture perfect front, can't ask for more than that.

Graded PSA Mint 9. No others have graded higher.
