    Description

1954 Bowman Ted Williams #66 SGC 86 NM+ 7.5. The 1954 Bowman Ted Williams card saw its production cut short due to legal issues about using Ted's image. The result was that in the entire library of baseball collectibles, this card became the rarest, except for the impossible PCLs from 1949. It is also the centerpiece of collecting lore as hobby legend Larry Fritsch said he opened one 5-Cent pack of '54 Bowman and inside were five Ted Williams cards! No, this isn't one of them, but it is a striking SGC 86 NM+ 7.5 example. All the bells and whistles of a high end card with only light wear at the corner tips.
