    Description

1954 Bowman Baseball Ted Williams #66 PSA NM 7. One of the more recognizable cards from the hitting great who inspired his share of nicknames including "The Kid," "The Thumper," "The Splendid Splinter," and "Teddy Ballgame." Pulled from the set, likely due to contractual problems, the 1954 Bowman #66 Ted Williams is one of the most sought-after postwar rarities. The Williams card was replaced by Jim Piersall after the initial print run. Slightly off-centered, this example is otherwise beautiful; with sharp corners, a clean back and brilliant coloring.
