    Description

    1953 Topps Satchell Paige #220 SGC 80 EX/NM 6. Had he pitched in a different era, the name "Paige" would be a common entry in the baseball record books. As it is, his name is revered for his contributions on and off the mound to both the Major and Negro Leagues. Plus his advice, "Don't look back, someone might be gaining on you." is as true today as it ever was. Offered is a strong SGC 80 EX/NM 6 example of his first Topps card appearance from 1953. This beauty has admiral centering, excellent colors with just corner wear to account for the rating.
