1953 Topps Jackie Robinson #1 PSA NM-MT 8. This card sets the standard for quality for this entire set. As the lead card from the 1953 Topps issue, card #1 features baseball icon Jackie Robinson and it has become a true hobby classic. The card has one of the most enduring portraits found on any card of any era. Being the first card it is no easy task finding this card in this condition. No one can argue that Topps produced a magnificent set in '53 and the decision to make Robinson their card is as meaningful today as it was back then.Graded PSA NM-MT 8. His portrait is exceptional. Colors are brilliant and crisp. The gloss is fresh and without blemish. We can assume vertical centering is the reason for the PSA assessment.
