    Description

1953 Bowman Color Berra, Bauer, Mantle #44 PSA Mint 9. Only 10 of the over 1,000 PSA submissions have generated a 'mint' assessment! It is a head turner and one worthy of the finest '53 Bowman Color collections. The era of the dual-player card began with card #44 from the 1953 Bowman Color series. Offering no catchy names, the card depicts a trio of Yankees at a time when they were in the midst of a string of five World Championships. The scene, a casual dugout moment with Hank Bauer, Yogi Berra and a youngster named 'Mantle.' Graded PSA Mint 9, close to perfect centering, graphics present rich saturated hues, all surrounded by a frosty white frame. One of ten at the Mint level with none graded higher.
