1952 Topps Tommy Holmes #289 PSA NM-MT+ 8.5. The 1952 Topps #289 Tommy Holmes card is part of Topps' legendary debut full-sized baseball card set and features a player who had already made a significant mark on the game by the time of its release. Tommy Holmes was a respected outfielder and hitter, best known for his time with the Boston Braves, where he was a two-time All-Star and finished second in MVP voting in 1945 after leading the league in hits, home runs, and doubles.
