1952 Topps Richie Ashburn #216 SGC 88 NM/MT 8 - None Higher. A visual blockbuster featuring one of the finest leadoff hitters to play the game - Hall of Famer Richie Ashburn. A star on the 1950 "Whiz Kids" who may not have been a flashy home run hitter but was consistent and showed remarkable talent both on the field and in the batter's box. This all earned him a well-deserved place in Cooperstown in 1995. The offered 1952 Topps card of a young Ashburn presents as nicely today as it did over a half century ago. Graded SGC 88 NM/MT 8. Only three examples have been graded NM/MT by SGC, there are none graded higher.
