Description
1952 Topps Minnie Minoso #195 PSA EX 5. His full name was Saturnino Orestes Armas Arrieta Minoso, but he simply went by "Minnie" Minoso to keep things simple. A Latin ballplayer, he helped pave the way for his fellow countrymen by not only making the Major Leagues, but excelling at baseball's highest level. A career .299 hitter over 17 MLB seasons, the :Cuban Comet" collected 2.113 hits including 195 home runs. Offered is Minoso's popular 1952 rookie card from Topps' inaugural set. This example of card #195 form the '52 Topps series is found in mid-grade condition with good color, nice centering, solid registration and four strong corners.
