    Description

1952 Topps Mickey Mantle #311 SGC 60 EX 5. Everybody's favorite post-war card depicts everybody's favorite All-American baseball superstar. Just twenty years old at the time of issue, Mickey Mantle would become a national icon. This short-printed number from the elusive high-number series holds high visual appeal. Virtually perfect centering, rich colors and just hints of wear at a trio of corner tips and the slight fuzziness at the fourth account for the technical SGC 60 EX 5 assessment which does fail to do justice to the visual appeal quality. A strong card for the excellent grade level.
