    Description

1952 Topps Johnny Sain (Error Bio, Black Back) #49 PSA NM-MT 8. One of the true condition rarities from the landmark 1952 Topps baseball series is the Joe Page/Johnny Sain biography error card. The scarcity is elevated for cards with the tough Black Back format. These errors are challenging additions in any condition, but this card offers a pair of virtually problem-free surfaces and a central portrait with very deep and saturated hues. Horizontal centering rests to the left and a small margin high of center. A high-end example graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of only four at the NM-MT level with none graded higher. This is a huge step toward completing a high-grade master set, along with the error version of Joe Page.
