1952 Topps Eddie Mathews #407 PSA EX-MT 6. There are several factors that when combined rank this card at the top of collectors' want lists. The obvious is the card features Eddie Mathews, one of the more over looked members of the 500 Home Run Club. Fact: Mathews his 40 or more home runs in a season four times - a feat never accomplished by Hank Aaron. The card is Hall of Fame slugger's rookie offering and it is the closing entry of what is now a benchmark production that has remained one of the most highly pursued and regraded card promotions in the hobby. The card shows only modest corner tip wear (one is minty) with crisp edges and problem-free surfaces. Rated for centering. Very solid example for a condition sensitive card.
