The 1952 Red Man Tobacco baseball card series was the first of four annual sets that would also serve as the final association between tobacco and baseball insert cards. Picked for that inaugural issue was an immensely talented young man who could seemingly do it all, Willie Mays of the New York Giants. Offered is a 1952 Red Man National League All-Star Team Willie Mays card, complete with tab on the bottom. It includes a succinct writeup about the reigning NL Rookie of the Year to the left of his portrait. Graded SGC VG 3.Guide Value or Estimate: $800 - up.
