1952 Bowman Larry Doby #115 PSA Mint 9 - Pop Four, None Higher. His was the most dangerous bat in the American League in 1952. Doby launched 32 homers and his .541 slugging average outpacing all others earning the Cleveland Indians outfielder his fourth of seven career All-Star nods this year. This first African-American Leaguer was brought in to replace Dom DiMaggio in centerfield in the bottom of the fifth inning of the '52 All-Star game, but moments later the skies opened up and the game remains the only Midsummer Classic in history to have been called on account of rain. Blazing hues and a bright white borders. Graded PSA Mint 9, one of four rated Mint by PSA, none graded higher.
