Description

1952 Berk Ross Joe DiMaggio PSA Mint 9 - Pop Three, None Higher! Joe DiMaggio was one of those rare athletes who transcended sport. He became a cultural beacon, of sorts, for Simon & Garfunkel when they asked, "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you." He was a symbol of the grace and determination of WWII-era America. Of course, he was also a terrific baseball player. It is almost a cliché, but- What would Joe D.'s career stat line look like if he hadn't sacrificed three prime seasons to serve our country? As DiMaggio retired after the 1951 season, his inclusion here is a bit of good luck. Our offered card features "The Yankee Clipper" from the 1952 Berk Ross series. Graded PSA Mint 9. This is one of only three cards graded MINT. There are none rated Higher! A great card of this legend that looks terrific.
