    Description

1951 Topps Major League All-Stars Walt Dropo PSA EX+ 5.5 - The Highest Graded Example! These cards are among the first cards produced by Topps in 1951 and are also by far the rarest cards in the massive Topps library. Although it takes only 11 cards to complete the set ask any brave soul who takes that challenge just how close to impossible it is to acquire all eleven. The best one can hope for is the eight presented in this auction before hitting a virtually insurmountable wall of rarity. PSA has graded only 119 total examples! Offered is the finest example of Boston Red Sox First Baseman Walter Dropo. Corners show not traditional wear, but the result of the perforation process. Centering seems to be the reason for the PSA assessment. Graded PSA EX+ 5.5, this is currently the highest graded example from a total population of only ten submissions.
