1951 Topps Connie Mack All-Stars Lou Gehrig PSA NM 7 - Pop One, One Higher! One of the first baseball card issues by Topps was an 11-card tribute to "Connie Mack's All Stars." Showcasing a line-up of all-time greats, the set is quite scarce, the foldable die-cut design only added to a surprising lack of high grade examples to satisfy modern hobbyists. The set is popular as it is a first for the Topps brand and Yankees legend Lou Gehrig is one of the most sought after names. Gehrig looks monumental towering over a small multi-color base surrounded by a deep red back drop, the scene completed by four very clean borders and four corners of equal high quality. Presenting with that "pack-fresh" look, this card has only minimal levels of wear to be found, vintage toning on the reverse is all even the most persnickety hobbyist will find to critique. One of the best known examples, the card is graded PSA NM 7, this being the only copy in NM with just one other rating higher on the PSA census!
