1951 Bowman Willie Mays Rookie #305 PSA VG 3. Willie Mays was the perennial All-Star center fielder for the New York/San Francisco Giants. He was terrific in every phase of the game: 3,293 hits (including 660 home runs), 1,909 RBI, and 12 Gold Gloves. A two-time NL MVP (1954 and '65), he also led the Giants to the 1954 World Series crown.Presented is Willie's much-coveted 1951 Bowman rookie card, which shows the prolific batsman awaiting yet another incoming pitch during what appears to be batting practice. This example of card #305 from the historic '51 Bowman set is found in Very Good condition with rich color and a clean reverse. Graded PSA VG 3.
