Description

1951 Bowman Ted Williams #165 PSA EX-MT 6. "Teddy Ballgame" was his nickname because his passion for playing baseball was always so intense. His actual name was Ted Williams and when his 19-year career with the Boston Red Sox wrapped, he was largely considered one of the greatest hitters who ever lived. Overall, Williams compiled a .344 lifetime batting average, parked 521 home runs and won six American League batting titles. Offered is a 1951 Bowman card that captures the Hall of Famer taking a big swing with the bleachers at Fenway Park serving as the backdrop. This example of card #165 from the '51 Bowman set is found in mid-grade condition with rich colors, solid registration, clean white borders and four strong corners. Graded PSA EX-MT 6.
