Description

1950 Bowman Ted Williams #98 PSA EX-MT 6. Boston Red Sox Hall of Famer Ted Williams is captured here taking a big pregame cut at Fenway Park. A career .344 hitter, he remains the last major leaguer to have cracked the .400 plateau, a feat he reached in 1941 by batting .406. In 1950, which marked the midway point of his prolific Hall of Fame career, Williams batted .317 with 28 home runs and 97 runs batted in. Offered is card #98 from the '50 Bowman set. This example is found off-center, pulling right to left, and shows some wear to the corners. Nevertheless, it remains a favorite amongst hardcore Red Sox collectors. Graded PSA EX-MT 6.
