1904 Pittsburgh Leader Honus Wagner Pocket Schedule SGC 45 VG+ 3.5.
This 1904 pocket schedule features a chest-high portrait of Honus front and center, dubbing him the "King of Ball Players." 1904 was the fifth season Wagner wore a Pirates uniform. Prior to '04, the Louisville and Pittsburgh faithful saw him rack up over 1,200 hits while maintaining a .342 lifetime BA. This is a very rare promo measuring out at 3 3/8" x 1 3/4" and is made of celluloid. The back displays a complete schedule of every Pirates home game for the 1904 season. "Compliments of The Pittsburg Leader" confirms the source. Graded SGC 45 VG+ 3.5. SGC has graded just seven of these early twentieth-century rarities and we can only speculate how few others might still be in existence.
