    Description

1949 Sealtest Ice Cream Richie Ashburn Rookie SGC 50 VG/EX 4. Finding a high grade rookie card of any HoFer can be quite the challenge. For Richie Ashburn fans, his rookie year appearance is in the very rare Sealtest Ice Cream regional series showcasing Philadelphia Phillies in 1949. Asburn didn't hit mammoth home runs but did amass almost 2,600 hits, play in 5 All-Star games and was an integral part of the success of the World Champion "Whiz Kids." Cards from this series are very difficult to find in any condition and exceptionally difficult to acquire in higher grades. Offered is a solid mid-condition example graded SGC 50 VG/EX 4.
