Description
1949 Bowman Satchell Paige #224 PSA VG-EX 4. This card is so endearing, any example pleases the Bowman or Paige collector. The back of his card says it all, "One of the most fabulous characters in baseball. Satchell spent many years traveling around the Negro Leagues before being signed to a Cleveland Indian contract. His exact age is not known, but he's been in baseball for years." This card of the ageless Paige has modest corner wear and creasing on the bottom right quadrant to account for the rating.
