    Description

1949 Bowman Satchell Paige #224 PSA NM+ 7.5. After Musial, Campy and Robinson, the most often submitted 1949 Bowman is baseball legend Satchell Paige. His exploits both on and off the mound secured his rightful place in baseball history and lore. This nicely centered card with a haunting portrait of the man many feel should have been the first African-American to break the color barrier is vibrant, sharp with great presence. Only small amounts of wear at corner tips to note regarding this very clean copy of an important and meaningful hobby classic.
