1949 Bowman Larry Doby #233 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. Not just a high-grade star card from a wildly popular set, but a scarce high number as well! The Hall of Fame ex-Negro Leaguer, and first African-American to play in the American League, was in his second full season of service with the Cleveland Indians when this card was issued. It seems as though it has seen little action since. Wear is all but entirely absent, with only slight wear to one corner tip and virtually perfect centering.
