    Description

1949 Bowman Early Wynn #110 SGC 96 Mint 9 - Pop One, Highest SGC Example! Early Wynn didn't start his career with much fanfare. The first sign of Wynn's true talent would come with the '49 season, the first of a dozen that saw him win at least 13 games for the cellar-dwelling Senators. You can't say the same for this eye-popping example of his '49 Bowman rookie card. All of the attributes of a card worthy of the MINT 9 level are present and accounted for. Sharp corners (all four) and brilliant color highlight this virtually problem-free example. Wynn's portrait almost perfectly framed within the confines of its white, spot-free borders. Graded SGC 96 Mint 9, the one and only copy to grade 96 MINT 9 from SGC with none higher!

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
