Description

1948 Leaf Ted Williams #76 PSA EX-MT 6. His Hall of Fame career spanned 19 seasons (1939 to 1960, minus three full years for military service) and it seemed like Ted Williams was always vying for the American League's MVP Award. The presented 1948 Leaf card was issued between Williams' winning two AL MVP awards (1946 and '49). A career .344 hitter, he had one of the sweetest swings in all of baseball and earned yet another nickname: "The Splendid Splinter." The offered #76 specimen from the popular '48 Leaf set is found in Excellent-Mint condition with bright pastels, clean white borders, great centering and a clean reverse. Only some minor corner wear keeps this card from receiving a higher grade. Graded PSA EX-MT 6.
