1948 Leaf Satchel Paige #8 SGC Authentic. Mr. Paige was forty-two years old when this card appeared and yes, it is his rookie card! In fact, considering that his first Bowman card appeared during the second of Leaf's two seasons of issue, one could rightfully consider this Paige's "true" rookie. Satchel cracks a smile above the caption of his rarely spoken given name. Borders have been hand cut, creasing is present with paper is affixed on the surface. Graded SGC Authentic.Auction Info
