1948 Leaf Larry Doby (SP) #138 PSA NM 7. Jackie Robinson was the first African-American player to break baseball's color barrier. That distinction as well as being the first National Leaguer, it was HoFer Larry Doby who has the honor of being the first African-American American Leaguer.
