The 1948 Leaf #1 Joe DiMaggio card is an iconic piece of baseball memorabilia, particularly valuable due to its subject-Joe DiMaggio, one of the greatest baseball players of all time-and its status as part of the first post-war baseball card sets. DiMaggio, known as "Joltin' Joe" and "The Yankee Clipper," had an illustrious career with the New York Yankees and is perhaps best known for his record 56-game hitting streak in 1941.
