1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson #79 PSA EX 5. It is always exciting when a talented youngster makes his Major League Baseball debut achieving "Rookie" status. None are as historic and more significant than the debut of Jackie Robinson in 1947. It stands as the most important event in post-war American sports. Presented is the rookie card of Robinson which commands the attention of any collector with an appreciation for baseball history. This is a solid, technically "mid-grade" specimen but that term woefully fails to describe this example which boasts high quality corners and precise color registration. Centering is essentially the reason for the final assessment. An essential component of any serious post-war trading card collection. The front shows some mild toning and print ghosting. Graded PSA EX 5.
