1948 Leaf George Kell #120 PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop Five, None Higher! George Kell might be a very under appreciated HoFer but he is famous to fans of the 1948 Leaf baseball series. Over a 15-year career, Kell appeared in ten All-Star games. Although he batted .343 in 1949, his career year was 1950 when Kell batted .340, racked up 101 RBIs, 218 hits (the most in the American League) including 56 doubles. Not to waste an opportunity at the plate, Kell struck out only 287 times during his career on just over 6,700 plate appearances.

His card #120 is fully appreciated by hobbyists as a notorious scarcities and appears on an even shorter list of HoFers on the "Short Print" roster. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of five in NM-MT with none rated higher. High quality with deep hues and precise print registration resulting in a clean and appealing portrait. PSA has graded a total of ninety-one examples which is very low for a card from the modern era.
