    Description

1948 Bowman Hank Sauer #45 SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5 - Pop Two, One Higher! Hank Sauer and Johnny Bench are the only players in major league history ever to have hit three home runs in a single game twice against the same pitcher. Sauer took Curt Simmons downtown this way in 1950 and 1952 - his career year with 37 home runs and 121 RBIs. This card could be in a "Mint" holder with no raised eyebrows. Graded SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5. One of just two cards representing this grade level with one rated higher.
