1948 Bowman Enos Slaughter #17 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. In 1942, Enos Slaughter showed some baseball heroics by racking up 188 hits and a .318 batting average taking the Cardinals to a World Series Championship. He became a military hero for three seasons serving in WW 2. He picked up right where he left off in 1946 by batting .300 and helping St. Louis take another World Championship title. Graded PSA Mint 9. One of ten graded MINT with none higher. A very sharp and clean example with a perfectly centered portrait.
