    1948 Bowman Enos Slaughter #17 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. In 1942, Enos Slaughter showed some baseball heroics by racking up 188 hits and a .318 batting average taking the Cardinals to a World Series Championship. He became a military hero for three seasons serving in WW II. He picked up right where he left off in 1946 by batting .300 and helping St. Louis take another World Championship title. Graded PSA Mint 9. One of nine in MINT with none rated higher. Extremely sharp and clean example with a close to perfectly centered portrait.
