1948-49 Leaf Gum Co. Joe DiMaggio #1 SGC NM/MT 88. Joltin' Joe gets his rightful due as he leads off the most compelling trading card issue of the decade. This flattering distinction typically means trouble when it comes to condition, however, as the first and last cards in the set are exposed to the lion's share of wear. Such is not the case here, however, as the rating of NM/MT 88 has only been topped a single time on the SGC population charts. Clean surfaces, the boldest of color and sharp corners set this representation near the absolute top of the heap.
