    Description

1947 Bond Bread Jackie Robinson "Portrait" SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5 - Highest Graded Example! Way before the likes of Michael Jordan, Ken Griffey Jr., Tiger Woods, and even Mickey Mantle, were featured on promotional material for the various companies they sponsored, the modern Major League's first African American player, Jackie Robinson was touting Bond Bread. Offered here is a promotional "Portrait" card featuring an image and facsimile signature of Robinson that has been graded an amazing SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5. This is the highest grade exemplar examined by the East Coast experts, and it exhibits sparkling borders, and the lightest amount of touching on the corners. Even after 20+ years of grading, this is the highest SGC example of any of the Bond Bread Robinson's.
