    1947 Bond Bread Jackie Robinson, Portrait SGC 10 Poor 1 With Cardozo Market Stamp. Decades before Michael Jordan, Ken Griffey Jr., Tiger Woods, and even Mickey Mantle promoted products for and any number of sponsors, a courageous Jackie Robinson, as baseball's first African American player was signed up to promote Bond Bread via a 14-card set issued from 1947 to 1949/50. Today, these cards are quite scarce and are highly treasured additions to any collection. Offered is the "Portrait - With Facsimile Autograph" card featuring a ready for action Robinson posed with his trusty glove. The card displays a unique stamp that reads, "Adams 9847, Cardozo Market, 1708 - Ninth St., N. W." Graded SGC 10 Poor 1.
